Despite the parking issues, the food and service were excellent. It could be rectified by having a drink to share! The inconvenience is worth it!
We had renewed our wedding vows at St. Catherine of Siena and were excited to invite our immediate family to the festivities. After reviewing Yelp reviews, we found a great spot for dinner. Reunion Kitchen was the perfect choice as we needed to serve our guests, but they were unwilling to share our dining experience due to space constraints. Luckily, the restaurant offered an additional table for us to enjoy our meal instead of paying more expensive charges.
Despite being seated at 630pm for dinner, we were disappointed by the unappetizing citrus salmon salad on the PCH strip and preferred to park our car in nearby parks. Our waitstaff was attentive and courteous, as stated in my reviewer's note to her. I had nothing but kind words and thought I could give her one of the best servers I have ever seen! Thank you, JAYDIN!
The Laguna Beach in CA hotel I frequented was a disappointment. Although I paid for an appetizer, it was not served quickly and the waiter/manager seemed to be dismissive towards me. It was one of those times where they made me feel uncomfortable and caused me pain.
The place is adorable, food excellent, and the service outstanding! It's a great spot for catching up with friends after work.
Upon discovering that Hillstone had removed some of their most popular dishes from their menu, I was motivated to find a new restaurant. Although I've been to several other restaurants, none have been highly regarded or recommended, the food and wine selections were satisfactory. The waitstaff at Union Kitchen + Drink is pleasant, but the service has been subpar due to busy hours. While there are plenty of options, it may be time to visit again, given that this is an informal dining establishment.
My first visit to the Anaheim Hills location has just occurred, and I was excited to see this new restaurant in Laguna! The place is small, but still has plenty of parking and lots of room for groups so we were seated right away. We ordered a huge serving of brussel sprouts and asparagus ($49) which were perfectly cooked and tasted amazing!
A friend recommended this small restaurant to us and we ended up dining there early. The view was beautiful, the Asian short ribs were spotless, my friend ordered an IPA and wine, and they had the most delectable green salad, while we settled for our Caesar salad (which was mostly basic) and our friends went with a jalapeo cheddar cheeseburger with avocado and fries.
My friend recommended this place to me as a location for catching up with friends at SS1 in the future. She also mentioned that I would love it, and I was right. The only downside is its proximity to upscale strip malls, which can be difficult to find parking for us.
The food and beverage offerings are excellent, with classic cocktails and mouth-watering salads. I was given a plate of crispy ribs and fried chicken, which were not part of the menu but were still tasty. However, my expectations for these dishes were high when they were presented to me - I had one from Austin, Texas that wasn't bad at all.
